THE DRIFTER'S GUIDE TO THE REACH — THE EAST REACH

54 systems. All entries complete.

The eastern frontier is where the established settlements give way to the newer ones and the character of the Reach begins to change in ways that the core systems find difficult to describe without using the word "frontier," which is a word the eastern systems have developed complicated feelings about. The Guide's correspondents report that the East Reach contains some of the most genuinely interesting systems in the network — places where the outcome is not yet determined and where the people who live there are aware of this and find it, variously, exciting, exhausting, and an excellent reason to keep a packed bag near the door.
