jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.6 db241b88bd refactor(schema): rename biome_summary to planet_class (D-188)
"Biome" describes per-zone vegetation classification (Whittaker table).
"Planet class" describes overall planetary character. The conflation
caused the planet generator to misclassify ~270 bodies as barren.

Scope: systems.db column, schema SQL, Rust atlas code, wiki table
headers (Biome → Class), atlas proposal JSONs, all docs/decisions,
tooling scripts. Also normalizes atmosphere vocabulary (breathable →
standard) and expands planet class mapping to all 26 wiki values.
Unknown classes default to temperate for modder safety.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.6 f1b97d4a88 fix(economics): address 17 PR review comments on #114
Blocking fixes:
- V-13: legal_services demand_model compliance→market (build-breaker)
- D-184: political flag names match TOML (commission_certified etc.)
- D-184: professional services list matches TOML
- D-173: elasticity count 5→4, cross-ref to D-184
- Workshop outcomes: fix self-contradicting fusion fuel statement
- R-011: move to end of file (was between D-183 and D-184)

Should-fix:
- D-166 domain link scope.md→architecture.md
- Sprint briefing counts updated (13→17 D-records, #801 marked done)
- Burnelli-Sheldon added to agent roster + briefing created
- questions-architecture.md footer tally updated
- medical_services demand_model utility→market
- timber display name drop "/Biomass"

Polish:
- D-171 Groombridge clarified (clearing house, not co-issuer)
- hospitality description has Reach texture
- commission_certification shadow_viable=false rationale in description
- Ticket #801 description updated
- Wiki pages regenerated

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.6 ac05dbd21f data(economics): commodity catalog — 36 types, 21 production chains
Workshop #801 deliverable: commodities.toml (36 commodities across
5 tiers), production_chains.toml (21 Leontief recipes including
2 substitution routes), schema.md (SQL DDL + validation rules).

Key design choices: brands are not commodities (separate layer),
water→fuel at 8:1 yield, 3 political sub-flags replacing single
boolean, gate energy-over-gate as commercial service. Wiki stub
pages generated for all 36 commodities.

Tickets #811–#815 created for follow-up work. #801 closed.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.6 252e3d380a docs(workshops): complete world generation architecture workshop
3 rounds of SW1 (endgame feature vision) with 5 agents + Qatux.
Produced endgame-feature-vision.md (692 lines) covering the full
galaxy-to-ground generation pipeline, cultural cascade, replayability
architecture, and player experience beats.

Workshop was cut short when PO redirected to a 6-phase development
cascade (wiki content → economics → planetary maps → player control →
world gen → detail coloring). v0.2 target dropped. Heritage roots
(D-104/D-105/D-101/D-107) flagged for supersession — real-world
cultural corridors replace abstract roots.

Q-077 promoted to full workshop brief with 9 reference implementations,
7 key questions, 5 zone types, and agent assignments (Tyre, Gestalt,
Nigel, Miri, Ozzie).

Also: Q-089 through Q-092 filed (starfield, Markov names, event audio,
modular settings menu), make clean-imports target added.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.6 a301fdab47 fix(content): purge all remaining Krenn references
Replace every occurrence of "Krenn" with "Van Maanen's Star" (or
contextual variants like VMS for locale codes, Van Maanen for proper
noun contexts). Covers CHANGELOG, briefings, workshop docs, sprint
briefings, environmental text examples, templates, ticker content,
and architecture docs.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.6 53a0e3f6b5 docs(workshops): add Abzu carry-out proposals (unresolved)
Round 6: four agents responded to the project lead's challenge
"what do you walk away with?" Gore proposed Threshold Attunement
and Attend verb (too philosophical, not literal enough). Gestalt
proposed vigil_vocabulary flag and Establish Watch verb. Nigel
proposed cross-playthrough WATCHER persistence flag. Ozzie
proposed door-measuring as retroactive evidence reading (thin
but visceral). Lead verdict: "too much philosophy too little
lootbox" — parking this for later. The reward design is TBD.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.6 c8cead39f3 docs(workshops): add Abzu mechanics design
Round 5: Gestalt translated world texture into playable verbs.
Watch Investment Counter (hidden 0-100), six player verbs
(Watch, Investigate, Converse, File, Document, Depart), bleed
tile states, Adams & Ford entry as accumulated field notes,
investment-scaled gate departure monologue, storyteller
de-escalation. Project lead noted: "extraordinary world texture
and zero playable verbs" — this document fills that gap.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.6 c765158b59 docs(workshops): add GJ 6711 final syntheses with Abzu naming
Round 4: final positions incorporating the name Abzu and all
challenge results. Locked decisions: high-bleed as failed vigil
canon, vigil predates human tenure, Institute paralyzed by
faction conflict, non-resolution principle. Araminta added
upwelling lighting gradient, departure transit spec, Mode 3
Institute transient vocabulary. Paula endorsed Option C for
the inner envelope. Miri specified six sealed envelope additions.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.6 9e7c83b969 docs(workshops): add GJ 6711 stress test challenges
Round 3: all four agents challenged the sealed envelope against
existing Builder/Interstitium/Gate lore. Key finding: no
contradictions with canon. All four independently converged on
high-bleed gates = failed vigil signal. All four endorsed the
vigil predating human tenure. Inner sealed envelope identified
as required for implementation.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.6 403b168ced docs(workshops): add sealed envelope and project lead direction
The sealed envelope: canonical internal truth about what the
vigil watches — observation is load-bearing, the founding
settlers were recruited, the doors accommodate non-human
shift-takers. Project lead direction: verbatim creative
decisions and critiques across all workshop rounds. Everything
up for grabs when the lead changes their fickle mind.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.6 1f48bebe77 docs(workshops): add GJ 6711 cross-pollination syntheses
Round 2: each agent read all four briefs and synthesized.
Key convergences: the doors as load-bearing detail, Adams &
Ford entry as mechanic, community warmth-without-origin.
Nigel self-cut "memory-without-event" archetype. Paula revised
tier 4 from "they know" to "they've stopped asking."

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.6 84d537cd4d docs(workshops): add GJ 6711 initial briefs — four perspectives
Round 1 of the Abzu workshop: Miri (worldbuilding), Paula
(narrative), Nigel (replayability), Araminta (visual design)
each produced independent briefs for the furthest system at
hop 23. Key seeds: Adams & Ford commission frame, the four
investigative frames, the "picture won't close" mechanic,
K-type amber palette, and the doors that are 10-15% too tall.

investigation system dropped in v0.2 pivot (D-117): knowledge catalog,

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.6 9f91fd077f docs(workshops): LLM voice pipeline workshop — D-138, D-123 amended, D-124 superseded
3-round workshop (7 participants + Qatux + SI) deciding content generation
architecture for NPC observable behaviors and dialogue.

Key decisions:
- D-138: LLM re-voicing pipeline (Gemma 2B Q4, llama-cpp-rs, bundled)
- Behaviors + dialogue both re-voiced; tells always passthrough
- Tells as read-only context inputs shaping surrounding content tone
- Cache-as-determinism, separate thread pools, layered hardware detection
- Two-spike validation: plumbing first, then integration
- D-123 amended (authoring tool + runtime enhancement)
- D-124 superseded (door walked through)
- Q-012 and Q-057 resolved

Artifacts: Krenn injectors v2, NI-1-5, culture template, 6 dialogue
constraints, tell-tone injectors, spike payloads, 12-risk register.
9 tickets created (#638-#647).

composable primitives, or LLM re-voicing with progressive enhancement.
Includes proposed-llm-voice.md (Gemini/Jeroen design session) and
Gemini project review (GEMINI-SCAN.md).

Key design: base text serves triple duty — LLM prompt seed, graceful
fallback, and LLM-off experience. Baked content for hubs, lazy
pre-voicing for exploration, same pattern as world generation.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Sonnet 4.6 c056ea1a1c feat(content): migrate line IDs to NPC-scoped namespace (D-035)
Line IDs in all dialogue and monologue pool files renamed from the
old location-scoped format (e.g. the-terminal_d_039) to the new
NPC-scoped format (e.g. kael-davan_d_001) per the D-035 Sprint 15
amendment.

Changes:
- 20 dialogue pool files across 3 locations renamed
- 14 monologue pool files (detective + smuggler) renamed
- Schema descriptions updated in dialogue/monologue schema files
- Authoring style guide and design docs updated with new examples
- Multi-location NPCs (kael-davan, pc-detective, pc-smuggler) given
globally unique cross-file sequences to satisfy XREF uniqueness check

The location-scoped scheme already caused a collision (the-terminal_d_039
appearing in multiple NPC files) and would not scale to procedurally
generated NPC populations (D-029). Zero content changes — pure ID
substitution.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.6 f1bd361816 feat(docs): add D-066 dual-scale grid decision and propagate to all docs
0.5m sim tiles for movement/LOS granularity, 1m visual tiles for
proportional art and readable spaces (2x retina factor). All world
geometry constrained to 2x2 sim tile minimum so cover/LOS maps 1:1
with visuals. Entities occupy 1x1 sim tiles for fine positioning.

Updates: D-043, D-044, D-051, D-056, D-059 annotations, workshop
outcomes (art direction + control/interaction), sprint 6 briefings,
decision index, and CLAUDE.md.
