jpmschweitzerandClaude Fable 5 9a0d42c5d3 chore(agents): roster sweep — arm discussion agents, integrate inigo, drop tiger (T-1104)
Cleared stale STANDBY markers, swept dead DISCUSSION.md pointers, disambiguated overlapping personas, corrected asset-gen paths. Armed 7 discussion agents (gestalt/gore/mellanie/miri/nigel/ozzie/paula) with Bash so they can run the pql preamble. Integrated inigo into the roster + briefing (audio, standby). Removed tiger — localization dropped from scope (R-013). Part of T-1099.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Fable 5 e6fd51161a chore(skills): refresh clide from canonical + preserve d2/frame0 tailoring (T-1101)
clide SKILL.md re-synced to the clide repo's canonical copy (picks up the dock/D-87 slot; de-forks). d2-diagram/frame0-wireframe/skill-create deletions landed in the prior commit; their repo-specific tailoring is preserved in docs/design/diagram-wireframe-conventions.md. Part of T-1099.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Fable 5 a6c2ff4740 docs(assets): Gemma architecture-flavor methodology — bounded corpus distillation (T-992)
Stage-1 register selection over the current wiki tree (Q-107 assumption
stated), stage-2 TEXT-FIELDS-ONLY structured proposals (tag, label,
cultural_description, candidate allow/block tags) — humans own all numeric
eligibility/weights (catalog-wide CI guardrails can't be satisfied
per-template); Araminta owns visual_bundle. No era-bands (Q-106 dissolved);
trauma_decay_rate stale-schema note. Mirrors docs/gemma-naming-methodology.md
incl. the sr-voice-tooling serving pattern. Worked example: GJ-4053 granite
dry-stack accept; GJ-1248/GJ-285/GJ-588 as correct stage-1 rejections.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Fable 5 3d6dcc9d05 docs+fix: sidequest close-out — T-1095 head tint, design doc, wardrobe docs, changelog (T-1088/T-1089)
T-1095 fixed: template heads now receive the body's skin tone (same
treatment as seg_head) — _load_head passes tone.lit with a full-white
fallback mask through _attach_to_bone; without a mask sidecar the tint was
silently ignored, so untinted templates read grey against mid/dark tones.
Verified by lookbook render (head_001 on child, tone 6 — face matches arms).

Docs: the T-1088 locomotion design document committed to docs/design/ (the
sandbox code's 'design §' references now resolve in-repo); character-asset-
organization gains §11 Wardrobe Pipeline and sheds three stale claims (the
never-built indexed-greyscale mask plan, single-mask-per-asset for clothing,
the resolved multi-region open question); CHANGELOG carries the sidequest
entry; D-250 amended with the shipped cutaway-modes verdict (mode 2 default,
user-decided live).

Tickets: T-1088, T-1089, T-1095 closed; T-1096 filed (S9 live feel-tuning,
needs the user). The Fable-5 cascade exception is closed — the cascade
resumes at Phase 4 (T-750).

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.8 5fb34675eb feat(simulation): grassland biome-awareness + alien-ecology vocab (T-1085 workstream 4, D-246)
The mosaic palette gains a climate-biome dimension for the Grassland surface-class:
savanna / temperate / boreal / tundra now read distinctly rather than collapsing to
one biome-blind palette (the D-246 biome-awareness fix).

- atlas/mosaic.rs: ClimateBiome (from temperature_c + moisture_q) + four biome-keyed
  Grassland palettes; palette(class, biome). Savanna carries scattered Forest copses,
  tundra carries lichen + sparse bare ground and no forest. §8-safe (veg + water only).
- atlas/voxel.rs: derive the biome; a cold barren district (tundra/boreal) now takes
  the sparse mosaic rather than staying blank — worlds that read "0 vegetated / blank"
  now read structured-sparse (D-245 climate-appropriateness). vegetated_districts
  8→20 and 0→39 on the cold validation bodies.
- data/mosaic_constants.toml: biome-keyed grassland mirror.
- docs/design/alien-ecology-vocabulary.md: Miri's full biome × register naming layer
  (the cane/vane/wrack/husk/drum-root native lexicon + Earth-register names) — the
  derived-label source for the palette and Phase-5 rendering.

Believability golden regenerated. Full server suite green. Forest biomes and the
introduced-Earth register are the noted continuation.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.8 388168eef5 content(wiki): T-1085 biosphere continuity + Cadwal→Linnaeus rename (D-247)
Operationalize the D-247 native-biosphere premise in the wiki (workstreams 1-2).

Chirality continuity — additive clauses making each world's biosphere_class
legible without contradicting existing prose:
- GJ-524 (Mirror): the "no indigenous hazard" world has no indigenous *nutrition*
  either — mirror-handed, inedible/inert; its promise is Earth-crop suitability.
- GJ-166A / Keid (Compatible): names the stakes the charter defends — Linnaeus's
  biology is edible/cultivable/exploitable, which is *why* it is preserved.
- GJ-684A / Freyburg (Compatible): "robust but non-competitive" = compatible
  chemistry, outcompeted by bred cultivars — not inert.
- GJ-124 / Hạ Long (Compatible): the two-generation "learn to farm" was learning
  which native (chirality-compatible) organisms to harvest — a genuine alien crop.
- GJ-197 / Puerto Último (Compatible): native life is edible in its own right;
  farming leaned on trusted introduced cultivars.

IP fix — the Keid conservancy world was named "Cadwal", Jack Vance's exact book
title (same narrative role). Renamed **Linnaeus** (the great classifier; pairs
with its neighbour Solander/Solandar). Capital stays "Vance" (the author tribute).
Renamed in the body frontmatter (+ biosphere_class: NativeCompatible), the
GJ-166A infobox, and the atlas proposal; D-247 clarified. The systems.db bake
(workstream 3) will propagate the DB + regenerate the infobox authoritatively.

Solandar and Oshima need no continuity edit (already canon-consistent).

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.8 ae7606ed83 docs(governance): address PR #169 review — reconcile sprite-era decisions + doc fixes
Tyre: D-244 now references its precedent (D-148 3D camera / D-149 live 3D characters
— D-244 completes that pivot for objects + assets) and reconciles the 5 sprite-era
decisions it touched, all amended 2026-06-17:
- D-043: 'not 3D' / Light2D scoped to overlay layers; in-world is 3D.
- D-044: sprite footprint retired (sim occupancy + visual hierarchy survive).
- D-049: z-stack logical model survives; sprite/CanvasLayer implementation language retired.
- D-066: dual-scale coordinate model + 2x2 geometry minimum survive; sprite-footprint language legacy.

Hoshe (doc QA):
- D-244 broken cross-file anchors fixed ([D-159]->scope.md, [D-241]->process.md).
- renderer/README: bare [D-244] linked; D-019->D-148 camera note; legacy banner over the
  object-sprite workflow sections; resolution-chain output path qualified.
- docs/assets/_templates/sprite.md + README: marked the template legacy object-sprite schema
  (model/texture/artwork template TBD).

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.8 dae1498a6f docs(assets): ratify 3D asset direction (D-244); repurpose sprite-gen as 2D-artwork generator
D-244 ratifies what the character architecture (D-159..D-164, runtime
CharacterVisualDescriptor compositing) and the Trellis env pipeline already implied
but no decision had recorded: the in-world view renders 3D objects directly; the only
flattened 2D content is textures + flat 2D artwork (paintings/flags/billboards/signage).
There is no per-object sprite layer.

Roots out the drift: the early-spike 3D->2D sprite pipeline (#541) and the sprite-centric
docs/assets/visual catalog were never cleaned out when the project went 3D, so the
2026-06-12 fable-ous audit read them as live and re-injected the dead sprite model into
T-1049/T-1050. Fix:
- docs/assets/visual/README.md + docs/assets/README.md re-scoped to 3D models + textures
  + flat artwork (dropped the sprites/tilesets-as-entities framing).
- /sprite-gen + renderer/README repurposed as the 2D-artwork generator (paintings/flags/
  billboards/signage), not the in-world object format; legacy 4-direction object-sprite
  mode flagged as retired.
- T-961/T-1049/T-1050 already held in backlog pending this.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Fable 5 346d87df7a chore(meta): docs/build sweep + tooling test gate (T-1069, T-1066)

  E4/E7/E9/F/W (90 safe auto-fixes applied; E402/E702/F841 ignored with
  documented counts)
- one-generator reality fixed in DEVOPS.md, asset-pipeline rule, CLAUDE.md
  (import_economics sole generator since #951/D-223); dead check-protocol
  target deleted; DEVOPS hook/config sections rewritten from the actual
  hook sources; team-patterns gate description updated (client+tooling)
- project.yaml: 0.2.0 → 0.4.0 per the 0.{phase}.{n} scheme, description
  refreshed from the v0.1 Sova narration to cascade reality
- stale comment sweep: voxel.rs stub claims (all 8 families implemented),
  cascade.rs TODO recited to T-1044, main.rs D-192 handshake claim,
  relationships.rs/chunk_streaming.rs version targets → phase language
- gitignore: client/settings.db* e2e-run artifacts

jpmschweitzerandClaude Fable 5 eec12c1ac2 chore(docs): drop the fable-ous filing ledger
The mapping is redundant: every filed record (T-1038..T-1071, Q-110..Q-122,

ledger itself remains in history at d23d54b3d if ever needed.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Fable 5 ca255dc16c chore(meta): cascade refocus — supersede v0.2 cluster, re-home backlog tree, capture workshop WIP
Governance:
- D-166 amendment (2026-06-12): outside-in build order (geo → econ-on-world →
  building templates → door boundary contracts → NPC/interiors → gameplay);
  Phase 5 ramps in parallel once outsides are walkable (gate: T-962)
- D-114/D-115/D-117/D-118/D-120 marked superseded by D-166 (inbound anchors fixed)
- D-221 amended: milestones retired, cascade-hierarchy gating is canonical
- Q-077/Q-068/Q-036 resolved (answered by events); Q-110 (scale anchoring) and
  Q-111 (live-econ coupling) opened from cascade grounding

Ticket tree (147 stray backlog tickets dispositioned):
- New parents: T-1036 (post-cascade gameplay parking), T-1037 (maintenance initiative)
- Re-homed: 15 → Phase 4 (T-750), 30 → Phase 5 (T-749), 11 → Phase 6 (T-751),
  21 → gameplay parking, 28 → maintenance; children follow their epics
- Cancelled 12 administrative shells (mirror tickets, emptied pre-cascade umbrellas,
  v0.2 pivot shell T-603); T-9/T-28 closed done; T-745 in_progress
- New grounded tickets T-1038..T-1044: inter-settlement road/rail graph, L3→L4
  dispatch threading, river-channel-anchor bug, 64m landform-repeat bug,
  region seam blending, road-entry octants, drainage re-run fix

Docs:
- CLAUDE.md cascade paragraph updated to the amended rule
- 20 v0.1-era docs/design files marked superseded with pointers;
  content-structure-canonical retitled (v0.2 label dropped)

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.8 fa8b6ebf08 docs(governance): file D-239 tile derivation contract, resolve Q-101
Resolves Q-101 — how a coarse Layer-1 cell + seed becomes coherent ~1m
voxel geometry across the scale jumps. The tile-derivation-contract
workshop output:

- three-carrier refinement chain RegionProfile -> ChunkContext -> VoxelColumn,
  pure deterministic, no authoring at the derivation layers
- district-temperature climate primitive (2x2 km, C, nullable) + separate
  moisture; everything climatic derives from temperature(+moisture)
- scattered, transient freeze/snow model (freshwater +5..-10, sea ice own
  band, snow moisture-gated; forms cold phase / melts warm phase)
- stateless f64-to-voxel domain warp (anti-squaring)
- 8 morphology families over a frozen 17-zone vocabulary, gated decision tree
- seams prevented at source (gate ordering + build-time matrix); valid
  geomorphic seams kept sharp + warped

Includes workshop brief, round-1 positions, and workshop-outcomes.md.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.8 595a6de5c6 docs(architecture): archive completed pql migration plan
The migration shipped (Phases 0-5 in PR #154; phases-as-hierarchy + Phase-6 SQLite
retirement in PR #155), so the plan is done. Moved pql-migration.md from the repo root
to docs/architecture/, flipped status approved -> completed, and added a header pointing
to the current-usage docs (CLAUDE.md, ticket-cli.md, governance/README.md) and the
tooling/pql-migrate/ transforms. Kept as a why/how record of the move off the binary
SQLite DB. pql-requirements.md stays at root — still-open feedback for the pql team.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.8 ccc194d5f9 fix(meta): address PR #155 review — DEVOPS layout + common.py cleanup
Hoshe (QA): docs/DEVOPS.md Repository Layout still listed `decisions/` — corrected to
`governance/` (the DQR tree) and added a `.pql/` entry for the planning store.

Tyre (architecture, non-blocking): tooling/db/common.py docstring named deleted scripts
as consumers and `resolve_db_path`/`load_config`/`get_connection` were dead settledreach.db
code. Trimmed common.py to just `ensure_venv` (the only symbol any kept connector imports)
and rewrote the docstring to name the real consumers.

ruff clean; common.py parses; ensure_venv intact.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.8 5a399c7924 chore(meta): retire legacy SQLite ticket/decision tooling (pql migration phase 6)
The pql cutover is stable, so remove the superseded SQLite planning tooling. Surgical
— only the ticket/decision/raw-SQL scripts (all settledreach.db-bound and replaced by
pql) are deleted; the asset/audio/wiki connectors and shared common.py stay.

Removed:
- tooling/db/{ticket,decision,decisions-sync,decisions_sync.py,sqlite-query,sqlite-exec,
  sqlite-init,sqlite-seed,sqlite_connector.py}
- tooling/{db-backup,db-install} + docs/backups/settledreach.db.backup (the binary-DB
  backup ritual; tickets now live in the git-tracked .pql/changelog/)
- tooling/check-decision-ids (dead stub, superseded by `pql decisions validate`)
- Makefile db-backup/db-install targets; SR_DB_PATH + tooling/db/{ticket,sqlite-*,
  decision*} entries from .claude/settings.json (audio entries kept)

Updated docs to pql: DEVOPS.md (SQLite Access + Decisions System → pql), project
structure, ticket-cli closing note, asset-pipeline raw-SQL warning.

Kept (verified still imported by the asset connectors via common.ensure_venv): common.py,
config.json, audio/image/trellis/wiki connectors. The live settledreach.db file
(gitignored, repo-parent) is left on disk as a cold rollback only.

ruff clean; pql decisions validate ok (357 decisions / 1013 tickets).

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.8 943f2e7749 docs(workshops): add decision_refs provenance frontmatter (pql migration phase 5)
Workshop -> decision provenance was prose-only. Adds a `decision_refs:` YAML
frontmatter list (the confirmed D-records each workshop-outcomes.md touches,
filtered against the governance decision set) to all 17 workshop outcomes; the two
that lacked frontmatter (commodity-catalog, system-economic-specialization) get a
minimal block. pql indexes the list and `SELECT fm.decision_refs` round-trips it, so
"which workshops touch D-NNN" is answerable via SELECT + filter or `pql search`.

decision_refs is a relevance signal (decisions a workshop discusses/produces), not a
strict authorship claim — historical bare refs aren't disambiguated. Generated wiki
read-only sections are left untouched.

Noted in pql-requirements #5: 1.6.2 has no working DSL operator for frontmatter
list-membership (`~`/`contains` error, `in` matches nothing), so membership queries
need a client-side filter for now.

Reproducible via tooling/pql-migrate/add_workshop_provenance.py (idempotent).

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.8 00c8574e11 data(economics): address PR #147 review — fused/activity pin fixes
Review fixes for the #1016 cultural pass (Hoshe/Paula/Miri):

- Kruger 60 (GJ 860A) xhosa -> cosmopolitan (Miri): GTTR describes an
  Afrikaner/Xhosa/Zulu founding "without mapping cleanly onto any of
  them" — the textbook genuinely-fused case, which taxonomy rule 4
  resolves to cosmopolitan rather than one of the three. Commented.
- Altmark (GJ 357) financial_technocratic -> cosmopolitan (Paula):
  reverts to the original shipped value; the GTTR reads as commercial
  non-alignment, not credential-based technocracy.
- Kampala Gate (GJ 667B) + Moyale (GJ 1292) keep swahili but add inline
  comments documenting that these are East-African-INTERIOR founders
  (Baganda; Kenyan/Ethiopian Borana-Oromo) for which the taxonomy has no
  dedicated token — swahili is the nearest available, NULL would fall to
  the wrong corridor default. Gap logged for a follow-up taxonomy value.
  Mwangaza (693) swahili is literally correct (coastal) — untouched.
- heritage-taxonomy-draft.md: stale "(38)" subheadings -> "(47)" to match
  the actual canonical count (Hoshe/Miri doc typo).

Retracted: Pedra Seca (GJ 421B) xhosa — reviewer thought it lacked
authored backing, but its gttr.md explicitly states "Afrikaans and Xhosa
heritage"; pin kept.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.8 8dc6c0ed42 data(content): address PR #146 review — Ghawr rename, faction pins, catalog
Review fixes for the #1019 heritage rebalance:

- Marib's farm world Ghouta -> Ghawr (Miri): "Ghouta" carries strong
  modern associations (2013 Damascus attack); Ghawr (the Jordan Rift
  Valley, an irrigated lowland farming region) keeps the water-fed-
  drylands sense without the resonance.
- Add dominant_faction = "independent" to GJ 914A / 508A / 1245B (Hoshe)
  — all five rebalanced systems are self-governing independent
  communities; uniform with siblings GJ 722 / 680 and clears V-FAC-01.
- catalog.md: fill GJ 914A -> Marib and GJ 722 -> Sığınak (Hoshe) — the
  two anchor systems still showed em-dash placeholders.
- Marib gttr: name the second aperture neighbour Sığınak instead of the
  bare "GJ 722" (Miri).

Pre-existing Golestan aperture/spur wording (reviewers split on whether
it is even wrong) is left for a separate content pass — not introduced
by this rename.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.8 8844bef139 data(content): rebalance 5 thin afrikaans systems to MENA heritage (#1019)
The corridor over-represented southern-African heritage (afrikaans on 15
systems; arab=2, persian/turkic=0) as an artifact of the earlier
name-balancing overcorrecting. Convert five genuinely-thin afrikaans
systems — whose distinctive threads are heritage-agnostic — into
Arab/Persian/Turkic founders so the cultural cascade is built on a
balanced set. Load-bearing mystery systems (Eerste Wacht / Helderoog /
Brandpunt etc.) are left untouched.

  Droëland (GJ 914A) -> Marib (arab)
  Stilwater (GJ 508A) -> Sawad (arab)
  Koeberg (GJ 1245B) -> Akhgar (persian)
  Skuilplek (GJ 722) -> Siginak (turkic)
  Carnarvon (GJ 680) -> Golestan (persian; Mostert dynasty -> Farahani)

Result: afrikaans 15->10; arab 0->2, persian 0->2, turkic 0->1.

Full narrative retouch (not just names): gttr.md + index.md prose,
body/station proper_names, cultural_specialization, gttr_hook,
atlas_city_names, and the four brand-corps named after the converted
systems (corp IDs kept stable; only display names + products renamed).
Cross-references in neighbour systems, the catalog, the aggregate
drifter guides, and the atlas proposals are updated to match.

arab/persian/turkic added to _CULTURAL_HERITAGE so the values validate;
the full canonical 47-value migration remains #1016.

Also fixes a pre-existing canon bug: Sawad (GJ 508A) no longer claims
GJ 914A is "unsettled" — it is Marib, a three-century settlement.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.8 01ba14ada9 docs(workshops): canonical D-237 heritage taxonomy (47 values, approved)
Reconciles the ~30 inconsistent heritage proposals from the 6-sector #1016
content pass into one canonical cultural_specialization heritage vocabulary
(47 values). Key reconciliations: norse_compact->nordic (un-fuses people from
faction), spanish_iberian+spanish_hispanic->spanish, brazilian_portuguese+
lusophone_frontier->brazilian, italian_northern->italian, afrikaans_cape->
afrikaans, french_provencal+french_canadian->french. No compound values; one
token per system (blends take dominant heritage or the cosmopolitan activity
value).

Maintainer decisions (2026-06-01): keep ALL values distinct (no lumping —
welsh/afro_brazilian/cape_malay/xhosa/luxembourgish/konkan all retained);
keep empty-but-complete slots (yoruba/hausa/hungarian/persian/turkic). Fills
the Middle-East gap the pass exposed: arab/persian/turkic added even at near-
zero current usage so the canon is complete.

Logs the southern-African overrepresentation (~25/300, afrikaans=15) as a DLC
content-rewrite rebalancing task (#1019) rather than lumping the taxonomy.

Migration note included: 4 already-shipped hero cultural values use old suffix
forms (afrikaans_cape, french_provencal, italian_northern, norse_compact) and
will be renamed in the culture-write pass when _CULTURAL_HERITAGE is replaced.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.8 4f53793755 feat(schema): D-237 specialization columns + specialization_vocabulary table
Ticket #1011. system_economy gains economic_specialization +
cultural_specialization (TEXT, NULL = heuristic fallback); new
specialization_vocabulary table (specialization_id PK, commodity_id
FK->commodities, production_ubiquity_override, projected BulkClass +
ProductionUbiquity for D-233, description) + commodity index. Columns
mirrored into COLUMN_MIGRATIONS for idempotent migration; table rides
systems-schema.sql. dominant_faction already exists on system_factions
(populate-only). Validated: importer parses; schema applies to scratch DB;
idempotent migration ran 2x on a copy of live systems.db, 301 rows preserved.

spec, must-pin table, and CI guardrails.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.8 f13216f5af docs(decisions): file D-237 authored specialization layer + re-amend D-233
Add D-237: each inhabited system carries three authored, static (t=0),
deterministic per-system identity fields sourced from
wiki/economics/system_specialization.toml — economic_specialization
(27-value vocabulary, scale encoded in the value), cultural_specialization
(unified activity + heritage vocabulary), and dominant_faction (populate
the existing system_factions column, 8 values, lattice_commission dropped).
Authored lore wins; a deterministic-varied seed-hashed weighted draw is the
fallback for unnamed systems so they don't read identically.

Re-amend D-233 to source dominant_bulk_class x dominant_production_ubiquity
from this authored layer (heuristic becomes fallback). Groombridge encodes
as a financial_hub Specialist district with the GSH clearing house as a
D-222/D-232 landmark rather than a composite vocabulary value.

Add the specialization-layer d2 diagram (3 fields -> D-233/D-232/D-214
consumers). Produced by the system-economic-specialization workshop.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.8 edc28d5cdb chore(config): allow read-only file access for teammates + system-economic-specialization workshop brief
- settings.json: add Read(repo/**), Read(/tmp/**), Grep, Glob to the
  allowlist. Teammates inherit settings.json (not settings.local.json),
  which had no Read rule — so every teammate file read escalated to the
  lead as a per-file prompt. This closes that gap.
- Add the system-economic-specialization workshop brief (lore-authored
  per-system dominant-commodity field + within-system weighted variation;
  Q5 covers adding a small identity field set in the same 300-system pass).

Note: agent memory-strip (6c93b698f) + this read-allow reach teammates
only after a Claude Code restart (settings/agent-def snapshot is taken at
lead startup).

Atlas-derivation workshop output (Jeroen + Tyre / Nigel / Burnelli / Gestalt).
The foundational world-derivation model:

- D-227 deterministic-rebuild world model: world = pure function of seed+atlas,
  derived on demand + cached, only tile mutators persisted, fully volumetric
  (voxel / subvoxel), vertical extent physical not floor-count, variable-height
  floors (cave/basement/built all count).
- D-228 composite tile schema: orthogonal axes (TerrainMaterial / FloorMaterial /
  Vegetation / Water / elevation), derived shape + tactical form, region-level
  morphology zones, cohesion matrix, dynamic clock-bound region seasonal state
  (water-height / snow / weather / crop-cycle from one cheap per-region calc).
- Q-100..Q-105: biome authority, refinement contract (+ body-class river density
  + ocean mask), cohesion-matrix algorithm, mutator op schema, floor-to-voxel-z
  mapping, region seasonal/clock state.
- Workshop brief: docs/workshops/atlas-derivation-model.md.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.6 b86bb00a55 refactor(simulation): PR #137 review — audit override + regression tests + docs
Addresses Tyre, Hoshe, and lead review comments on PR #137:

- **Audit doc amendment** (Tyre E1 / Hoshe H1 / Lead): add "Lead override
  (2026-04-21)" section at top of docs/architecture/sprint-37-878-audit.md.
  Rewrites the conclusion to "DECISION: STRIP" with the cascade-based
  rationale. Preserves the original audit body as the pre-override record.

- **Regression tests** (Lead 2a-2b / Hoshe H2 / H3): add POSITIVE
  assertions of the new uniform behavior so silent reintroduction fails.
  - `phase2_container_verb_labels_uniform_regardless_of_player_state` —
    two trials (empty KG, POI-bearing KG) assert container verb labels
    equal Phase-1 defaults.
  - `monologue_pool_selection_uniform_no_archetype_key` — two observers
    with divergent MonologueState both draw from OBSERVE_NPC_LINES.

- **Decision record amendments** (Lead 3 / Tyre S2): D-032, D-035, and
  D-057 amended with Phase 6 deferral wording. "Retired pending Phase 6,
  not deferred with scaffolding." Reintroduction gate: a confirmed
  Phase 6 character-model design.

- **types.rs doc fixes** (Tyre S1 / Hoshe H5): StartupMessage protocol-
  flow comment updated to reflect no-version handshake (D-192).
  ObserverSnapshot version-history block grows a "Sprint 37 wire-format
  shifts" section documenting D-192 + #878 schema drops.

- **observer/tests.rs:944 comment** (Hoshe H6): rewritten to cite
  cascade rationale instead of the stale D-032-SUPERSEDED premise.

- **tests/run-atlas-determinism exit** (Hoshe H7): exit 0 when EXIT_CODE=2
  (venv/DB missing = skip, not fail). Preserves skip semantics for
  tests/run-all on machines without the Python venv.

Follow-up tickets filed:
- #895 (server, low): expand check-systems-db-stamp GENERATOR_SOURCES
  to cover gemma_naming.py + naming_core.py (Tyre S3).
- #896 (planning, low): add CLAUDE.md carveout for server wiki writes
  closing coverage gates (Tyre S4 / Hoshe H8).

H4 investigation: v01_integration_playthrough.rs was not the only E2E
handshake→tick→snapshot test; coverage preserved by bridge_ipc.rs,
bridge_tcp.rs, and game_loop.rs (the latter is pre-existing-broken
per #885). No replacement test needed.

1142/1142 lib tests pass. cargo clippy -- -D warnings clean.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.6 9f755f2a62 feat(simulation): persist SelectedBookmark across save/load (#863, #862)
Adds Serialize/Deserialize to SelectedBookmark and wires it into

Also refactors BookmarkPlugin to accept an injected BookmarkRegistry
via BookmarkPlugin::new(registry) (#862). The Default constructor
still wires the canonical tycoon registry — injection is for tests
and future TOML loading. Flagged in PR #132 review as a follow-up.

jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.6 5079d84405 docs(ci): document source-canonical asset pipeline rule
Adds `.claude/rules/asset-pipeline.md` describing the full pipeline —
generators, meta stamp, pre-push hook, how to make DB/schema changes,
and why direct systems.db edits are forbidden. CLAUDE.md and DEVOPS.md
point at the rules file; sprint-start template now reminds teammates
to read it before touching DB sources.
