"what do you walk away with?" Gore proposed Threshold Attunement
and Attend verb (too philosophical, not literal enough). Gestalt
proposed vigil_vocabulary flag and Establish Watch verb. Nigel
proposed cross-playthrough WATCHER persistence flag. Ozzie
proposed door-measuring as retroactive evidence reading (thin
but visceral). Lead verdict: "too much philosophy too little
lootbox" — parking this for later. The reward design is TBD.

Round 5: Gestalt translated world texture into playable verbs.
Watch Investment Counter (hidden 0-100), six player verbs
(Watch, Investigate, Converse, File, Document, Depart), bleed
tile states, Adams & Ford entry as accumulated field notes,
investment-scaled gate departure monologue, storyteller
de-escalation. Project lead noted: "extraordinary world texture
and zero playable verbs" — this document fills that gap.

Round 4: final positions incorporating the name Abzu and all
challenge results. Locked decisions: high-bleed as failed vigil
canon, vigil predates human tenure, Institute paralyzed by
faction conflict, non-resolution principle. Araminta added
upwelling lighting gradient, departure transit spec, Mode 3
Institute transient vocabulary. Paula endorsed Option C for
the inner envelope. Miri specified six sealed envelope additions.

existing Builder/Interstitium/Gate lore. Key finding: no
contradictions with canon. All four independently converged on
high-bleed gates = failed vigil signal. All four endorsed the
vigil predating human tenure. Inner sealed envelope identified
as required for implementation.

vigil watches — observation is load-bearing, the founding
settlers were recruited, the doors accommodate non-human

hop 23. Key seeds: Adams & Ford commission frame, the four
investigative frames, the "picture won't close" mechanic,
K-type amber palette, and the doors that are 10-15% too tall.

a real catalog star — DXP9 peculiar magnetic white dwarf at 20.03 ly.
