fix(docs): batch 18 review — fix 14 errors from Paula audit

Profile table spectral classes corrected to match DB star_type for:
GJ-183, GJ-661B, GJ-508A, GJ-603, GJ-92, GJ-434, GJ-49, GJ-117,
GJ-169, GJ-286, GJ-3442, GJ-1235, GJ-356A (13 systems).

Prose fixes where Miri wrote around invented spectral types:
GJ-92 (G0V→K-type), GJ-434 (G8Vvar→M-dwarf flare), GJ-49 (K5V→M-dwarf),
GJ-117 (K1V→M-dwarf), GJ-169 (K7V→M-dwarf), GJ-286 (K0IIIvar→G-type).

Structural fixes:
- GJ-508A: "three stops back" → "one gate back" (Breëvlei is adjacent)
- GJ-2097: authority gradient softened with wave_2 age justification

The M-dwarf is a dim red primary with a stable habitable zone and no obvious settlement barrier. The surveys were done. Nothing was wrong. No one came.
The timing was unfavorable. The east_reach push extended this corridor during an era of confident expansion, but the systems that might have seeded settlement here had their populations absorbed into closer, more connected communities during the Secession period's economic contraction. GJ 117 remained on the charts as an open route rather than a destination.

Posto Avançado — "forward post" in Portuguese — carries its function in its name and has never pretended to be something else. Two hundred years ago, a Portuguese-heritage settlement group established this community at the end of a spur off GJ 482B with a specific intent: to push the habitation frontier one more system outward, plant something that would survive, and call that a success. They succeeded, which was the easier part. Surviving two centuries of deep_frontier isolation, with one gate, no through traffic, and the distance from everything that "forward post" implies — that took something more.
The K7V primary is a dim, stable orange-red dwarf, warm enough to support a modest habitable zone but requiring the agricultural engineering common across M-dwarf corridor communities. The community has had two centuries to refine that engineering, and the food culture that developed from those constraints — dense, preserved, seasonally precise — is one of the things locals take genuine pride in.

At hop 7, Commission authority is minimal. A charter post exists in name; in practice, a Commission vessel visits annually and the rest of the time Posto Avançado governs itself through a council that has been continuously operating for two hundred years. The institutional memory runs deep. The people here know their own history better than any outside authority does, and they treat outside interest — commercial or administrative — with a calibrated wariness that has served them well.

The Commission has maintained a continuous post here for well over three centuries — unusual for hop 6, but Nascente's wave_2 age means the relationship predates the current authority framework. The post is staffed, chartered, and integrated with civic governance in ways that younger settlements at this distance would resist. Nascente does not resist; the relationship is older than the resistance.
A Portuguese-heritage mutual aid society, the Irmandade do Alcance, predates the Commission post by a generation. It handles private dispute mediation and maintains a community archive. These roles overlap occasionally with Commission functions, and the overlap is managed with practiced care.

Weitblick means "far sight" — the view from a high place, the capacity to see a long distance. Two hundred years ago, German-heritage settlers chose this name for a system that sits deeper in the frontier than most communities that were founded in the same era, and they chose it with the awareness that from here, looking back toward the Reach, the distance is exceptional. From this far out, you can see a lot. The question is whether anyone is looking back at you.
The star is a K0IIIvar — a variable subgiant, slightly evolved beyond the main sequence, producing a light that is slightly warmer and more variable than a standard K-type dwarf. The variability is mild, documented, and predictable on known cycles. It does not threaten the habitable world but it shapes agricultural planning: certain crops are timed to activity minima, certain infrastructure is designed with the maximum activity cycle in mind. Two centuries of local observation have produced some of the most complete stellar activity records for any deep_frontier system.
The G-type primary is a warm yellow star — brighter and more hospitable than the dim M-dwarfs typical of the deep frontier. The light here feels close to Earth-standard, which gave the founding settlers a practical advantage and an emotional one. Two centuries of local astronomical observation have produced some of the most complete stellar records for any deep_frontier system.
As a through_route connecting GJ 309 and GJ 598, Weitblick handles genuine transit traffic — not heavy, but regular. Vessels moving between the two connecting systems pass through. The community developed a modest service economy around that traffic: refueling, maintenance, crew accommodation for vessels unwilling to attempt the long haul without a stop. The transit function and the settlement have coexisted without either dominating the other, which is an arrangement that suits the local character.

GJ 434 is an empty spur off Taishan (GJ 682) — two apertures, one connecting back toward Taishan, one reaching out toward GJ 117 beyond. The star is classified G8Vvar, a variable G-type primary: broadly solar-type but with periodic activity cycles that produce significant UV flux variability. Surveys flagged this as a complicating factor for surface settlement. It is not a fatal obstacle, but it requires mitigation engineering that raises costs and extends timelines.

The star is a variable M-dwarf with periodic activity cycles that produce significant flare activity. Surveys flagged this as a complicating factor for surface settlement — radiation exposure during flare events requires shielding infrastructure that raises costs and extends timelines.
Nobody has yet decided the system is worth that investment. Taishan is an established junction that handles significant east_reach traffic, and GJ 434 sits off its shoulder like an afterthought — a spur that goes nowhere permanently inhabited. The gate infrastructure exists because the survey program extended it as a matter of procedure; the route through GJ 117 was part of a corridor mapping pass that never prompted settlement activity.
The system sees occasional transit — scientific vessels, survey runs, traffic moving between GJ 117 and Taishan that chooses this routing over alternatives. It is not heavily traveled. The variable star's activity cycles are predictable enough to schedule around, and most captains do exactly that: check the cycle tables, route through during a quiet period, don't linger.

The community grew off a spur from Port Desrochers (GJ 1005A), the east_reach's major junction. Port Desrochers handles traffic and commerce and institutional weight; Dernier Quai handles none of that. It is a dead_end off a junction — reachable, not en route. The French outpost character that defines the place comes from that original founding cohort and has been maintained in language, cultural practice, and civic architecture across three hundred years. It is not a museum; it is a living inheritance.

GJ 92 is an empty corridor link. The star is a K-type primary — cooler and dimmer than Sol, orange-hued, with a habitable zone that surveys indicate could support settlement. The surveys were done. The assessments were positive. Settlement never came.
The most plausible explanation is timing. The system sits at hop 7 on a corridor whose active settlement push happened during the Trade Expansion era, and by the time its outer systems were being mapped, the early Secession pressures were already disrupting outward migration. The settlers who might have come to GJ 92 went elsewhere or stopped moving altogether. The gate infrastructure was completed anyway — the apertures were already in fabrication — and GJ 92 became a transit node that no one needed as a home.
It has been one for over two centuries. Vessels pass through on their way between Nascente and GJ 138 beyond. An automated relay station operates near the inner aperture, maintaining navigation data and transit logs. There is no crew, no dock, no supply station. The in-system approach requires vessels to carry everything they need.
The G0V star hangs at the center of an empty habitable zone, warming a planet that surveys described as temperate, stable, and biologically active. Something grows there. Nobody has looked closely in a long time.
