Summary

  • Insert/HUD wireframe and visual specification (#314) — pixel-precise layout for the neural lattice overlay HUD with dual character variants (smuggler social network view, detective investigation overlay)
  • Covers: time display, entity markers, location labels, border arrows, commission grid, inventory icons, stance indicator, and all interaction states (active, inactive, hover, dialogue, high perception load)
  • Includes Appendix A implementation notes for Stig (#263 time display) with anchor coordinates, ObserverSnapshot requirements, and lattice_profile boolean logic

Tickets

  • #314: Insert/HUD wireframe and spec — dual character variants (done)

Test plan

  • Visual review: wireframe mockups match D-033 entity colors, D-048 insert overlay spec, and visual-grammar-v01.md section 7
  • Spec consistency: all coordinates, sizes, and colors cross-referenced against visual grammar and decision files
  • Integration: Stig (#263) can implement time display from Appendix A without ambiguity

Pixel-precise wireframe and visual specification for the neural lattice
overlay HUD (#314). Covers smuggler (social network view) and detective
(investigation overlay) variants via lattice_profile parameter.

Specifies: time display, entity markers, location labels, border arrows,
commission grid, inventory icons, stance indicator, and all interaction
states. Includes implementation notes for Stig (#263 time display).

PR Review: visual → main (#60)

Hoshe (QA): APPROVE

Summary: Comprehensive, internally consistent spec. Decision cross-references are accurate throughout.

# File Severity Issue
1 insert-hud-wireframe-v01.md §2 vs §8 suggestion ASCII diagram shows STANCE in upper-left chrome band; §8 places it at y:826-856 lower-left. Diagram is misleading.
2 insert-hud-wireframe-v01.md §3.3 suggestion SHIFT A/B/C/OFF naming is character-voice, but should note it maps to D-031 phase enum to avoid implementer confusion.
3 insert-hud-wireframe-v01.md §8 suggestion PRONE omitted from stance list — correct for v0.1 (D-053 defers it), but worth noting in §13 out-of-scope.

Araminta (Art Direction): APPROVE

Summary: Diegetic-first principle holds throughout. Dual-variant architecture is clean. Ready to unblock #263.

# File Severity Issue
1 insert-hud-wireframe-v01.md §2 suggestion ASCII diagram shows [INVENTORY] on both sides; §7 specifies right-only. Should show STANCE left, inventory right.
2 insert-hud-wireframe-v01.md §10.2 legend suggestion Commission grid legend references "Michroma thin" — should reference line specs (1px, #333340 at 20%) instead.
3 insert-hud-wireframe-v01.md §9.4 suggestion Monologue y:800-860 clips into inventory band (y:856). Tighten to y:768-800 or document inventory band as ceiling.
4 insert-hud-wireframe-v01.md §10.3 suggestion Hover state verb list placement relative to D-056 cursor brackets not clarified — simultaneous composition ambiguous.

Verdict: APPROVED
