## Faction Notes
GJ 280B is the home system of Sova Station Works, the inner core's specialist habitat module fabricator. The founding Slavic-heritage community came as construction engineers; the system grew around fabrication work rather than agricultural or administrative settlement. The population is concentrated in orbital infrastructure rather than on any surface body.
Station Sova — the orbital station that serves as Sova Station Works' manufacturing headquarters — is the largest inhabited structure in the system and the hub around which all local economic activity is organized.

## Narrative Hook
The company that builds the pressurized sections everyone else lives in started here. The workers who designed the Compact-Class Habitat standard — the module configuration the Commission adopted as its reference specification — still work here. They will show you the original fabrication halls if you ask.
