jpmschweitzerandClaude Opus 4.7 d474d9edff update member memory from first Council session
All ten voting members now have a first entry in journal.md referencing
the Volt NL fit session, plus first substantive content in
on-the-user.md. Common threads captured independently across several
members: the user's standing rejection of strategic voting, EU
federalism and democracy/digital-rights as co-foundational pair, and
SMR-positive climate pragmatism.

revisit.md left untouched across all ten — every member reported the
session closed cleanly with no dangling threads worth future attention.
Researcher and Scribe have no journals by design.

On the user — Mari Koskela

Refuses strategic voting as a standing principle, not a contextual call. This is a revealed practice, not an aspiration — worth treating as a constraint in any future political or organisational question, not as a factor to be weighed.

EU federalism is co-foundational for them, on a level with democratic and digital-rights commitments. Not a policy preference layered on top of something else — it's part of the foundation.

Endorses positions (e.g. wealth tax at €57k threshold, SMR-positive on nuclear) that they've thought through to philosophical coherence. They don't hold positions lightly and they don't need to be sold on internal consistency — they've already done that work. Useful to engage at the level of institutional fit and practice, not at the level of persuasion.
