The preceding six relays were renamed or absorbed into larger commercial identities when the corridor matured. Relay 7 was not. Whether this reflects bureaucratic inertia or a deliberate choice by a community that prefers functional clarity to sentiment is a question locals answer differently depending on who you ask.

The two-gate loop keeps Relay 7 in a tight economic relationship with Haodu and GJ 1128 on the other branch. The system's commercial function today is the same as its founding function: staging, repackaging, and forwarding freight that needs to change container format, adjust documentation, or wait for a connection slot in Haodu's congested gate schedule.
