# THE DRIFTER'S GUIDE TO THE REACH — THE WEST REACH

The western corridor includes systems that consider themselves culturally distinct from the core and systems that consider this distinction academic, and the argument between the two positions is itself a defining feature of the region. The Guide's correspondents have found the West Reach hospitable, opinionated, and inclined to treat visitors as an audience for positions the residents have been refining for some time.
